Illegal Logging in La Cueva Area
This is an example of illegal logging on private land. Poachers cut this 24 inch diameter tree on private land adjacent to the Santa Fe National Forest in La Cueva during the Forest Service thinning operation. Such illegal logging is nearly impossible to prevent during forest thinning.
