Fire Ecology in Rocky Mountain Landscapes is William Baker's 2009 book, a go-to reference for the history of fire in the Rockies. Baker closes the book with Chapter 12, "Toward a Better Relationship Between People and Fire" wherein he summarizes the findings of the book and brings those findings into a positive look at how humans can co-exist with wildfire without destroying the forests.
